Find Recycling Centres

Martyr's Lane Recycling Centre

Woking GU21 5NJ, UK

Greatly helps the community in recycling waste or unwanted products. A range of items can be recycled including: books, car batteries, normal batteries(used in household appliances), metals, mobile phones, printer cartridges, mattresses, paint, textiles, monitors, plastics, tyres, carpets, cartons, cooking oil, electrical items, gas bottles, hardcore & rubble, household and garden chemicals, mixed glass, plasterboard, wood & timber and fluorescent tubes. unrecyclable waste can also be brought. However Business waste and Asbestos waste CANNOT be brought to the centre. Most items have no charge but you can further verify if there is a charge for recycling some items/substances on their website or by calling them. Great place overall and has helped me many times in accepting old unwanted items.

Large site, recycle most household items and very easy to navigate

Woking Community Recycling Centre

Martyrs Ln, Woking GU21 5NJ, UK – 01483 721119

The recycle shop is a great idea and Geoff who works there is always helpful and pleasant The restriction and enforced payment for even small amounts of DIY waste is really very disappointing, but not the staffs fault who work there. Generally a well staffed and useful recycling centre.

Helpful staff always at hand if your not sure what bins to put stuff in,, they say put it in the black bag area & they will sort it,,👍

Give and get free stuff. Here you will find lots of items that people are willing to give away, for FREE! This is instead of taking them to a local landfill site. The aim of this site is to reduce the amount of waste that goes to landfill (20.9 million tonnes of it last year in the UK) and recycling is great news for the environment.
We all know that we need to recycle more - and this is a great way of doing it.
